From 16 July 1996, Spanish tile manufacturers have a new
head office in Castellón. The Spanish tile sector began
a new organization phase with the location of all their services
at this new and functional building.
.
ASCER's new head office comprises four floors, with a total
area of 2,885 m2 constructed on a site measuring 4,000 m2.
The soberness of its structural lines, which reveal the inside
of the building from outside, blends with the use of post-modern
elements.
The façade welcomes us with a wide staircase and four
solemn, naked and robust columns. Through them, a rose window
is outlined, illuminating the whole structure of the building,
made up of three pure elements: a cylinder, a diagonally perforated
cube and a projecting parallelepiped as a pinnacle.

The layout is intelligently structured, allowing the building
to be flexible and multifunctional.
For example, the conference room is divided into two circular
spaces with the possibility of independence in the event of
simultaneous use, or the sliding doors of the main entrance,
that allow communication with other areas.
The will to adapt it for practical use is mixed with the
use of twenty-six types of tiles and other naked materials,
such ceramics, concrete, marble, textile coverings, wood,
glass
that fulfill their purpose.
The various washrooms and toilets have been surfaced with
tiles of different styles, formats, decorations and qualities,
perfectly showing the richness, variety and adaptability of
Spanish ceramic tile production. .
Among other areas, this singular building has an exhibition
room, a conference room with a capacity for 148 people, projection
and simultaneous interpreting cabins, board meeting room and
four training rooms.

This head office is the representative figure of the Spanish
ceramic industry and a valuable collective patrimony that
is the result of many years of effort that the Spanish tile
manufacturers are proud of.
